Ein ambitionierter Umweltschutz und eine starke Wirtschaft gehen Hand in Hand. Mittel- bis langfristig wirkt sich mangelhafter Umweltschutz auch negativ auf die Wirtschaft bzw. das Wirtschaftswachstum aus (Vernichtung von natürlichen Ressourcen, Verlust an Biodiversität, gesundheitliche Schäden etc). Die GLP verfolgt das Ziel die Umverteilung von Arbeitnehmenden zu Rentner:innen zu reduzieren und zugleich das Rentenniveau möglichst zu erhalten. Dafür sind eine Anpassung und Flexibilisierung des Rentenalters unter Berücksichtigung der branchenspezifischen Verhältnisse nötig.
