Der Kapitalismus braucht ein gewisses Mass der Ungleichheit, um überhaupt funktionieren zu können. Wenn man den Reichen zuviel Geld weg nimmt, werden diese nicht mehr investieren, was letztendlich die Wirtschaft schwächt. Die Grundversicherung sollte mit einer Einheitskrankenkasse abgedeckt sein, welche über die Steuern bezahlt wird. So gehen die Kosten für die allermeisten Versicherten stark zurück und der Staat muss letzendlich weniger Geld in die Hand nehmen.
